Dave Rohrl is Mobile Game Doctor's Founder and Owner. Dr. Dave has more than 24 years experience designing and producing online games for a mass audience with more than 8 years of free-to-play experience. Over the course of his career, he has led design or production on more than 50 games and overseen or consulted on dozens more. After holding senior positions at Pogo, PopCap, Zynga, Playdom, and FunSockets, Dave has decided to use his network and expertise to help as many game developers as possible deliver better mobile games. Dave works on many projects directly and oversees key deliverables for every client.
Dr. Cat is an industry pioneer who's been designing and programming games professionally for 34 years. He created the first freemium game, Furcadia, in 1996, which also holds a Guiness World Record as the longest continuously running MMORPG, and co-authored a patent for the unique math model in High Noon Video Poker. He's known for the design work he did on several of the hit games in the Ultima series, including Ultima VI, Ultima Underworld II, and leading the design & team on Ultima: Runes of Virtue. He was also lead designer on top 10 Facebook hit Ravenwood Fair, and served as Creative Director at Zippity.com and on Idle Worship. He also has a deep background in Slots games from his work at Multimedia Games and Koolbit. Dr. Cat works on a variety of client projects with a special emphasis on Slots, MMORPG's, and math-intensive design.
Raymond Holmes has been working in video games as a Producer and Designer since 1996. After more than a decade in console and PC games, he moved into the world of Social and Mobile games, serving as the original lead designer on Farmville, a live lead designer on Mafia Wars, and other casual or mid-core free-to-play titles. More recently, Raymond worked as a Design Director on GSN's Casino team where he managed and designed high-performing slots games for Facebook and Mobile. Raymond is working with a clients in a variety of genres and platforms, including connected toys.
Doug Hill is a designer, writer, and producer with 15 years of game development. In that time, he has shipped over 35 games for various platforms, including 16 games where he served as Lead Designer, Principal Designer, or Producer. He has worked with clients like Disney, Activision, Take Two, Nickelodeon, and Popcap on a variety of projects. Doug has extensive experience in the free-to-play midcore space. He was Lead Designer on Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Isles of War and worked at Kixeye as Lead Designer on Battle Pirates, the most profitable mid-core game on Facebook. Doug also has a degree in Writing and has written and acted as narrative designer on multiple projects. He can also create lightweight prototypes in Unity using C#. Doug welcomes an assortment of projects and excels in both creative and technical design areas.
Scott Jon Siegel makes games for everyone. Since 2008 Scott worked as a lead or senior designer on a number of successful games for Facebook, mobile, and web at companies like Zynga (Café World), Disney (Gardens of Time), and PopCap (Plants vs. Zombies Adventures. He most recently led design on #amidoingthisright, Microsoft’s chat-based ARG. With an emphasis on mass-market appeal, Scott has a penchant for shaping great narrative and memorable user experiences.
